Silk and art silk
A soft shine that marks easily. Viscose “bamboo silk” is even weaker when wet, so both are checked before anything touches them.
Wool and hand-knotted
Hard-wearing but heavy when wet. A full clean means drying all the way through, not just the top.
Persian rugs
Rich dyes and fine knots, often a family piece. Every rug is looked at closely before any cleaning starts.
Shag and flokati
Long pile hides grit at its base. Washed through and dried slowly, with honest advice about very deep pile.
Stains and spills

We clean rugs efficiently, and we offer free pickup and delivery for all area rug cleaning in Toronto and nearby. We arrive at your home, roll up the rug and even move furniture off it. When the rug is ready, we deliver it back to you.
We pick it up
Call or book, and we collect the rug from your door, even moving furniture off it. Pickup is free, and so is the quote.
We clean it at our facility
Every rug is checked first, and you get the price before any cleaning starts. Then it’s washed and dried indoors, without high heat.

If something turns up at our facility
Some things only show once a rug is unrolled on our floor: an old repair, moth damage, a weak spot. If we find something like that, we call you before going any further. If you’d still like just the regular wash, its price stays exactly as quoted. And if you’d rather not go ahead, we bring the rug back free.
Wash first, then decide about stains
Most stains look very different after a proper wash, and many are simply gone. So on most rugs our advice is simple: have the regular wash done, look at the stain again afterwards, and only then decide whether stain treatment is worth paying for.
The exception: silk and viscose (art silk, “bamboo silk”, “banana silk”). A wash on its own almost never lifts a stain from these rugs, so they nearly always need stain treatment.
The super wash, explained
A super wash means the rug is washed on both sides, so it’s cleaned twice. It can help a thick, heavy rug. On a thin rug it makes no real difference, so we won’t suggest it there.
